Patricia Chuani is a Career Banker and Enterprise Development professional, with over 29 years’ working experience in multiple disciplines spanning Enterprise Development, Retail (Micro & SME) Banking, Corporate & Relationship Banking, Credit, Donor-based Policies and implementing various Youth-based programmes. Patricia is a Certified PMP ® holder and a member of the Project Management Institute, Inc (PMI) both at the Global and Local Kenyan Chapters. In her current role as a Senior Programme Manager at AJW Africa Limited, she has consulted for various Corporates and Corporate Foundations to inculcate Shared Value approaches, through creation of appropriate frameworks such Strategic Plans, Donor-focused Policies and Organizational Structures. She has further supported these Corporate Foundations in Resource Mobilization through co-created Technical & Cost Proposal writing. While at AJW, Patricia has consulted for the following clients: DAI-Afchix, a USAID funded project, Pearl Dairy Farms Limited & Project Prosperity Foundation (Lato Milk), Absa Bank Kenya PLC, Nation Media Group & Nation Media Foundation, National Council of Churches Kenya (NCCK), Global Citizen x BeyGOOD. Prior to her current role, Patricia was based at KCB Foundation (Kenya’s largest Corporate Foundation), where she held the roles of both the Acting Head of Programmes & 2Jiajiri Business Development Manager. In this role, she managed programmes worth over USD 130 million dollars. Patricia was a co-creator and conceptualized KCB Foundation’s/ Mastercard Foundation (MCF) Young Africa Works Proposal, that raised cumulative funding of over USD 325 million for a 5 year-programme. In the past, Patricia was at the helm of leading the customer service team at KCB Group and was instrumental in the set-up of the current KCB Group Customer Experience Centre, one of the largest in the region. She was also a senior Corporate Relationship Manager for seven years, where she managed a diverse portfolio of corporate customers with loan books of USD 40 million. Patricia received an MBA: Global Strategic Management-Summa cum laude from USIU (Kenya) and a BSc Finance-Intl Business Administration from the same institution.
