Kephar L Tande

Mr. Kephar Tande serves as the Chairman of the AJW Africa Advisory Council, and brings 47 years experience in management and finance from both the private and public sectors. He has held various leadership positions in large corporations including serving as the Managing Director of East African Portland Cement Co. Ltd and as the Deputy Managing Director, Postbank (Kenya Post Office Savings Bank. His professional career spans multiple industries, from Food Production (Unilever Kenya), Cosmetics Manufacturing (Pond’s, UK) and the Hospitality Industry (Africa Tours and Hotels Ltd and Nashepa Gardens Ltd).

This varied cross-industry experience is invaluable in contributing to AJW Africa’s intention to create sustainable jobs in Africa across all sectors. Additionally, Mr. Tande is a successful entrepreneur, having set up and ran successful companies of his own. Mr. Tande holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from U.S. International University, and a Bachelor of Science (Accounting).
