Lawrence Litali

Lawrence is a community-minded researcher and MBA candidate at the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa), where he also serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Research Centre, School of Business. He brings hands-on experience in quantitative and qualitative research using SPSS, R, and NVivo, along with survey design, digital data collection, field research coordination, and the production of development-focused analytical briefs for university and NGO clients. Lawrence combines strong relationship-building and cross-cultural collaboration skills with a practical understanding of scholar onboarding, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement.

In his current role at the USIU-Africa Research Centre, Lawrence supports research coordination and documentation and contributes to the Research Costing Project led by Prof. Francis Wambalaba, conducting quantitative analysis in SPSS and R alongside qualitative analysis in NVivo. At AJW Africa, Lawrence serves as a Research Assistant, providing hands-on support across the research function’s day-to-day operations. He assists with the preparation and organisation of data collection tools, supports logistics and coordination for fieldwork, and helps manage documentation and record-keeping throughout the research cycle.
